Silver care guide

Daily cleaning (simple):

• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe your jewelry
• An old cotton t-shirt or a microfiber cloth works very well
• Avoid rough fabrics that could scratch the silver

Deep cleaning (1-2 times per month):

• Prepare warm water with a little mild soap
• Soak your jewelry for 5-10 minutes
• Gently scrub with a soft brush (soft toothbrush)
• Rinse with clear water
• Dry with a soft cloth

Polishing product (specialized cloth):

Use a silver polishing cloth (impregnated with product). It is the simplest and most effective solution:

• Gently rub your jewelry with the cloth
• A few circular motions are enough
• The tarnish will gradually disappear
• Rinse with clear water and dry

Where to store your jewelry:

• Closed storage box (protects from humidity and dust)
• Bedroom drawer (a dry and dark place)
• Safe (for precious pieces)
• Use tissue paper or a fabric-lined pouch

Things to absolutely avoid:

• Bathroom (humidity = oxidation)
• Kitchen (steam and heat)
• Window (direct light)
• Leaving it out on a table (dust, impacts)

Tips for preserving your jewelry:

• Remove your jewelry before playing sports or swimming
• Remove it before washing your hands (soap + water = oxidation)
• Avoid contact with chemical products (perfume, lotion, sunscreen)
• Watch out for chlorine and saltwater
• Repeated impacts wear down silver: be gentle

My jewelry is turning black

This is normal! Silver oxidizes over time and with humidity. This is the "tarnish" (black patina).

Solution: Use a silver polishing cloth or the deep cleaning described above.

My jewelry tarnished quickly

You might be wearing it at the pool, at the gym, or exposing it to humidity.

Solution: Remove it in these situations and store it in a closed box.

My jewelry has lost its shine

It may be accumulated dirt or a thin layer of oxidation.

Solution: Do a deep cleaning with soapy water, then polish with the cloth.

My jewelry is scratched

Scratches are unfortunately permanent in silver.

Prevention: Store jewelry separately in pouches, wear them with care, and do not knock them against hard surfaces.
