What counts as a small ring size?
In France, a ring size corresponds to the inner circumference of the ring in millimeters, so a size 50 ring measures 50 mm around. For women, the most common sizes range from 52 to 54, and small sizes start below that. In this collection, almost all the rings come in 50, some in 48, and a rare few go down to 46. The same rings often come in larger sizes too, up to 60 and beyond.
How do you find your ring size?
The most precise way is to take a ring that already fits you well and measure its inner diameter. Otherwise, wrap a strip of paper or a thin string around the base of your finger, without tightening, then measure its length, which gives your finger circumference in millimeters. Measure in the morning, at room temperature, and repeat the measurement on another day to confirm it, a finger that is swollen in the evening does not call for a larger size. A wide band fits tighter than a thin band and sometimes calls for half a size more. The conversion chart is in our ring size guide.
Which rings can you find in small sizes?
Every style is there. Thin bands, like the Liv or Freya rings, are worn every day. The Kari ring draws a floral motif, the Xenia ring is a thin band adorned with a motif. Nearly half the models carry a stone, often a cubic zirconia or a crystal. The La Pompadour rings carry a colored stone, carnelian, labradorite, onyx or rose quartz. A few rings feature the fish of the house, like the Love Fishes ring or the Chic & Fish ring, which you will find with the other fish jewelry.
Can a small ring be worn on the little finger?
Yes, and it is one of the simplest ways to wear a mini ring. Depending on your hand, a ring in size 48 or 50 can be worn on the little finger, so measure it like the others, each finger has its own size. The house also offers adjustable 925 sterling silver pinky signet rings, to be found among our signet rings. Finally, thin bands can be worn several at a time, stacked on the same finger or spread across the hand.
How do you care for a 925 sterling silver ring?
A ring is worn more than a necklace, it comes into contact with water, soap and creams. Take it off to wash dishes or your hands, store it away from air and wipe it with a soft cloth. Rhodium-plated rings keep their shine longer, bare silver gradually tarnishes and is easily revived. All the steps are gathered in the silver care guide.
