How do you choose a women's 925 sterling silver ring?

How do you care for a silver ring?
Over time, 925 sterling silver oxidizes and takes on a gray tint, which is normal. On a bare silver ring, a few strokes of a silver polishing cloth are enough. On a rhodium-plated or gold-plated ring, which means most of the rings on this page, skip the impregnated cloth and the baking soda, which would wear away the layer, and use a bath of lukewarm soapy water, a rinse and a soft cloth to dry.
