Women's Watches

A navy blue, silver-tone or gold-tone women's watch is chosen like a piece of jewelry, according to the wrist and the bracelets it will sit beside. About fifty women's watches make up the collection, most in stainless steel, some gold-tone, others on a leather strap. Blue appears on about ten designs, from the navy blue leather of the Aphrodite to the blue dial of the Océanide and the Nereïdes, and the Angèle and Lisa watches have a blue version.

What case size should you choose for a women's watch?

The case gives the watch its look. The case of the silver-tone Kintaro watch measures 29 mm, a size that stays discreet on a slim wrist and slips under a shirt sleeve. A round case goes with everything, a rectangular case is more noticeable. On a slender wrist, a small dial and a supple strap strike the right balance, on a wider wrist, a bolder case or wide links are a better fit.

Stainless steel, leather or 925 sterling silver, which strap should you choose?

Most of the watches in the collection are made of steel, often stainless steel, like the case of the silver-tone Kintaro watch. A leather strap, softer on the wrist, goes with an everyday outfit. A metal link bracelet is worn almost like a piece of jewelry and dresses up the wrist more. A few watches have a 925 sterling silver bracelet on a rhodium-plated metal case, for those who like to match their watch with their silver jewelry, and a few models incorporate mother-of-pearl.

A silver-tone or gold-plated watch, which should you wear?

A women's silver-tone watch goes with almost everything, with silver jewelry as well as with jeans or a dark dress. The Némo Silver watch, inspired by the marine world, is one example. A gold-plated watch warms up a light outfit and echoes gold-plated jewelry. Several models come in both tones, as the Angèle, Olga and Thelma watches each have a gold-plated version, and the Audrey watch comes in black or in rose gold.

How do you wear a watch with your jewelry?

A watch is usually worn on the wrist you write with least, and the other wrist takes the bracelets. You can also bring them together, a slim watch next to a bangle or a chain, staying within the same color, silver-tone with silver-tone, gold-plated with gold-plated. At the office, a light dial stays readable at a glance. To go with a stainless steel watch, see our bangles and our 925 sterling silver bracelets. A watch is also chosen as a gift, and the house offers men's watches for a gift for two.

How do you care for your watch?

Wipe the case and the metal bracelet with a soft cloth after wearing them. Take off your watch before showering, especially if it has a leather strap. 925 sterling silver bracelets gradually tarnish on contact with air, like any silver jewelry, and the silver care guide explains how to restore their shine. Store a gold-plated watch apart from your rigid bangles.
